Text | Funeral services for William Skilling, 59, who died January 10, 1854 [1954], in Salina, were held last Tuesday. The former Frankfort resident had been ill several months. He was born one mile west of Frankfort, and later engaged in farming near Irving. He is survived by: His widow; his daughters, Mrs. Evelyn McDonald, Salina; Mrs. Margaret Paden, Wilsonville, Neb.; Mrs. Edith Rumsey, Wichita; his sisters, Mrs. Pearl Sylvester Perry, New York; Mrs. Blanche Schlegel, Irving; Mrs. James Smith, Marysville; his brothers Ike Skillin, Frankfort; Robert Skillin, Irving; James Skillin, Endicott, Neb.; and Ike Dover, Cleburne and six grandchildren. Burial was in Frankfort cemetery. | |
