Text | Obituary of Mary Rumsey Mrs. Mary Cornelia Rumsey, 78, of 5128 East Central, Wichita, died Nov. 25. She was born in Nelson, Nebr., March 20, 1891, and came to Wichita from Marshall County, Kansas, 28 years ago. She was a member of the Hillside Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Oliver, of Wichita, and a daughter, Ferryl Arlene Murray, also of Wichita, and by three sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Veneman, of Burley, Ida.; Mrs. Opal Quillen, Oxford, Nebr.; Mrs. Bernice McCormick, York, Nebr. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Cochran Mortuary Chapel in Wichita at 1 p.m., Friday with graveside services to be at Mt. Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebr., at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. | |
