Text | William N. Whiting WEST POINT, VA., March 6. - Mr. William N. Whiting, after an illness of many weeks, died at his homeyesterday morning. His funeral took place at 3 P. M. to-day. To-morrow his remains will be taken to Richmond for interment in the Soldiers' Section in Hollywood. He was a member of John R. Cooke Camp of Confederate Veterans, and requested to be buried with his comrades. His aged mother survives him, also his brother, Dr. C. T. Whiting, formerly of West Point, now of King and Queen county. | |
