Text | Henley Funeral at Williamsburg Services to Be Held in Bruton Church Tomorrow Afternoon Funeral services for Norvell Lightfoot Henley, of Williamsburg, House representative of Charles City, New Kent County, James City, York and Warwick, who died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in Johnston-Willis Hospital, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Bruton Parish Church, Williamsburg, of which he was a member. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, that place. Mr. Henley is survived by his widow, who was Miss Edmonia Pendleton Turner; two sons, Richardson L. and J. Turner Henly; three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Irvin, of Reidsville, N. C.; Mrs. Clarence W. Toombs, of Asheville, U. C., and Mrs. Burton H. Smith of Norfolk, Va., and three brothers, F. D. Henley and Robert E. Henley, of this city, and W. Spencer Henley, of Savannah, Ga. Mr. Henley was the son of the late Judge and Mrs. R. L. Henley. He received his education at the College of William and Mary, studying law in his father's office and at the University of Virginia. He was a member of the Westmoreland Club of the city, of the American Bar Association and a member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. | |
