| Text | OBITUARY - JOHN RAZAK John Razak was born June 24, 1855, at Malcin, Czechoslovakia, and passed away at his home in Collyer, Kansas, February 3, 1931, at the age of 75 years, seven months and nine days. He was married to Barbara Hladek on February 20, 1882, at Malcin, Czechoslovakia, and they came to the United States in the year of 1886 and located on a farm near Collyer, Kansas, where they resided until five years ago, when they retired and moved to Collyer, Kansas. To this union were born 11 children, one sone passing away in infancy. He leaves to mourn his departure, a wife, six daughters and four sons: Mrs. S. E. Krhut, Mrs. W. F. Krhut, and Anna Razak, of Collyer, Kansas. Mrs. J. J. Littlechild, of WaKeeney, Kansas; Mrs. Antone Matousek, of Esbon, Kansas; Mrs. O. J. Lacerte, of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; J. A. Razak and Charles Razak, of Collyer, Kansas; V. J. Razak and Wm. Razak, of Manhattan, Kansas, and 31 grandchildren. Mr. Razak made a large number of friends during the many years he resided in Collyer township and city, having made his home in this community for 45 years. Funeral services were conducted from the Zeman Hall last Thursday afternoon by Rev. H. H. Beers, pastor of the Presbyterian church, of WaKeeney. Burial was in Collyer cemetery. | |
