  Notes	Milton Rumsey was 9 months old in the 1900 census of Enfield, NY. He was mentioned in the 1905 will of his uncle, Orville C. Rumsey. He was a laborer aged 26 when he was married in 1925. Marie Becker was 22, born in Bulgaria. Both were living in Newfield. In the birth records of his children, Milton was a machinist in 1927, a laborer in 1932, and a stonemason in 1936, at which time there were three children living and two who had died. When young Harold Edward was killed 1931 in an accident, probate papers showed his parents as Milton L. and Marie Rumsey of Ithaca (PR Pkg 4187) Milton L. Rumsey died intestate, and in his probate his heirs were: widow Marie Rumsey, brother Warren L. Rumsey, and sons Milton L. Jr., Edwin and Raymond Rumsey (PR Pkg 7076). In 1960 and 1965 Marie Rumsey was at 407 Spencer Road, Ithaca. Letters to Milton D. and Raymond in 1966 brought no reply. [1]
