  	Frank B. "Junior" Templin, 91 of El Dorado, died Friday evening, March 8, 2002 at the Augusta Medical Complex. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Walnut Valley Memorial Park Cemetery. He was born Oct. 6, 1910 in Ft. Smith, Ark., the son of Frank E. and Minnie (Bond) Templin. His family moved to the El Dorado area when he was young, and he attended the Median school. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II in the 7th Bombing Squadron. He was stationed in Hawaii as a medic. On Feb. 27, 1948, he was united in marriage to Lorene I. Hedrick in Emporia. She preceded him in death on Dec. 3, 1993. They resided in El Dorado where Frank was employed as a welder for the American Petrofina Company, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the V.F.W. Fred Priestly Post 1174, over 50 years as a member of the American Legion Capt. Edgar Dale Post 81, the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing golf and following the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. His greatest passions in life were spending time with Lorene at arts and crafts shows, listening to her play music and spending time with his grandsons. Survivors include: a son, John and wife Barbara Templin of Leon; a daughter Brenda and husband Wayne Arnall of Pace, Fla.; two brothers, Clyde Templin of Kirkland, Wash., and Albert Templin of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a sister, Elva Mills of Sacramento, Calif.; four grandsons, Brad Forsythe, Eric Arnall, Trey Templin and Gabe Templin; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Forsythe. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dale Templin and Elbert Templin; and three sisters, Irene Hadady, Ona Cummins and Hazel Dill. The family will be present to greet friends from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home. A memorial has been established with the American Legion Cart Path Fund in care of Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, which has the arrangements.
