  Notes	Aaron was a private in the American Revolution in Capt. David Olmsted's Company, having arrived in camp on 3 Jun 1778. He was discharged in Sep 1778 in Col. Enos' Regiment on the Hudson River. Aaron Cass was killed while serving with the Dryden Company soldiers in the War of 1812. He was struck in the head by a British cannon ball and instantly killed while crossing the Niagara River. He was serving in place of his son Josiah, who was on leave at the time. [2]
