Wanda Jean Razak, 85, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Wesley Towers Ralph Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born January 18, 1927 in Hutchinson, the daughter of George and Helen Raner Fowler. She was a 1945 graduate of Hutchinson High School and a 1946 graduate of Salt City Business College, Hutchinson. Wanda was a bookkeeper at Wesley Towers from 1969 to 1989. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Hutchinson. She married B. Keith Razak on August 29, 1948 in Hutchinson. He died July 16, 1963.
Survivors include 2 sons, Stanley and wife Kathy, Solomon, KS and Brian and wife Sarah, Old Orchard Beach, ME, a brother, Walter E. Fowler, Fort Smith, AR, a sister, George Ann Miller, Cortland, NE, 4 grandchildren, Keith Razak, and wife Sarah, McPherson, Kyle Razak and wife Ashley, Bonner Springs, Aaron Razak, Lawrence, and Megan Norris and husband Adam, Medford, MA, 5 great grandchildren, Braden, Harper, Ian, Hudson, and Jensen, and an aunt, Jennie West, Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, J. Marion Fowler.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Art Maddock presiding. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends may sign a memorial book from 9AM to 9PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley Towers Foundation or Hospice Care of Kansas, both in care of the funeral home. [3] |
