John Pendleton Turner John Pendleton Turner died at 8:30 o'clock last night at St. Vincent's Hospital after a lingering illness. He was the son of the late Dr. John Daniel Turner and Elizabeth Taylor Turner, of Orapxe, new Kent county. He was married in 1914 to Mrs. Sallie Peebles Cox. He had been connected with the freight department of the Norfolk and Western railroad for a number of years. He was a member of th Elks. Besides his widow, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. N. L. Henly of Williamsburg, Va., Mrs. Louise B. Jones of New Rochelle, N. Y., Mrs. J. J. Montague and Miss Mary Turner of Richmond; three brothers, William R. Turner of Minneapolis, Ben and Robert Turner of Lauexa, Va. The funeral will be private Saturday afternoon at the residence in the Parkwood apartments.
