  Notes	Served in 1st SC Infantry, Company C, McCreary's Regiment, Provisional Army, Enlisted in 1st Carolina Rifles at the age of 14, was terribly wounded and lost an eye in battle of Richmond, honorably discharged but reenlisted in 1863 in Manly's Battery and surrendered at Appomattox. Obituary says wife and 3 children.
